All Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior dancers (ages 8-19) that are registered for the full workshop will participate in the RADIX Core Performer Scholarship Audition Class. Dancers must audition by their age (as of January 1, 2019). ALL DANCERS MUST BE IN THEIR "AGE APPROPRIATE" ROOM FOR THE Core Performer AUDITION COMBO CLASS AS WELL AS THE ACTUAL AUDITION. Students will learn a short combo during the 45-minute class prior to the audition. During the audition, the dancers will be broken up into groups and the RADIX faculty will evaluate. Students will be chosen by the faculty in each of the following age groups:
Selected students will be announced at the end of the audition. These students will be the "RADIX Core Performers!" All RADIX Core Performers will be called up on stage at the end of the Closing Show on Sunday afternoon and the winners and remaining runners-up in each age division will be announced. Male & Female RADIX Core Performers will be judged and awarded separately. PLEASE NOTE: Dancers must attend ALL classes and wear their scholarship numbers for all of Saturday's and Sunday's classes.
Once you are a RADIX Core Performer Winner in one regional city, you are not eligible to be a RADIX Core Performer Winner in another city. RADIX Core Performer Runners-Up may continue to audition in other cities to become a RADIX Core Performer Winner.
If you become a National RADIX Core Performer Winner, you must wait until you are in the next age division before auditioning to be a National RADIX Core Performer again.
